Our sources have revealed the power, torque and fuel efficiency figures of the Innova Crysta. The Innova Crysta produces the exact same amount of power and torque as the BS4 version. However, the fuel efficiency figures are now slightly better in the BS6 version.
Toyota has officially started accepting bookings for the BS6-compliant Innova Crysta and Innova Touring Sport after their launch on January 6, 2020. The 2.8-litre diesel engine has been discontinued and the Innova is currently available with a 2.4-litre diesel and 2.7-litre petrol engine in both automatic and manual guise. As for the pricing, the 2.4-litre diesel version of the Innova Crysta gets a price hike of Rs 59,000 to Rs 1.23 lakh, while the 2.7-litre petrol variant is dearer by up to Rs 63,000.
Ahead of the BS6 deadline, Toyota has discontinued the 2.8-litre diesel variants of the Innova Crysta. The 2.8-litre engine was exclusively offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission. In the new model, the 2.4-litre oil burner is likely to replace its bigger cousin and could be offered with manual and automatic options.
